Breakfast in Li Hotel Pera

Property building in Li Hotel Pera
The Li Hotel is not just an accommodation. It is a home away from home. Strong points: • The human aspect. The people working there are the kindest, most helpful, good-humoured people you can imagine. They will go to great lengths to please their guests and help them kind-heartedly. Can, the owner (there are two people working there with this name and both are amazing!), would print a city map every morning and show us where to go/what to visit, what means of transportation to take, what to do in a certain place. Where else would anyone do this? • The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos. Spacious – bigger than what is usual for Instanbul (according to the info I have on other hotels), comfortable, cozy. • The AC works very well, and it felt so good after a very hot day in Istanbul. • They provide toiletries and the bathroom is clean and nice. • The breakfast is simple, but you get enough to make you feel you have the energy to face a working/leisurely day out. • We got two bottles of water every single day, which were left on the nightstand after they cleaned the room. • And how not to talk about location? It simply couldn’t have been better, just seconds – literally, seconds away from the famous and trendy Istiklal Street and its famous Nostalgic red tram. I mean, does it make the place noisier than in other places? Obviously, but that is only natural, considering you’re in the heart of Istanbul. Also, the big Taksim Square and its metro/funicular line is only 5 minutes away. What else could you ask for? All in all, let me just reassure you that staying in this property really made a difference in our stay in Istanbul. Getting to the hotel after a day working and visiting the city and being welcomed with a smile and a genuine interest in our day and general well-being does mean a lot. If we ever return to Istanbul, we know the place to choose.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It’s hidden in a narrow street near Istiklal and finely combines touristic location and very cozy home-like atmosphere. We stayed at a comfortable room on the 4th floor (the bigger one). The room is very bright as it has 4 windows and two of them are French balconies. It’s new and clean, the AC is very strong and easy to manipulate - so the temperature was fine at all times. As there’s a lot of noise outside it was important for us that the room was quiet and IT WAS. The windows are new and don’t let the noise enter the room neither from the street nor from neighbours. The view is on the street and opposite buildings that are old and destructed – so if you’re looking for beautiful view you should think twice. Since we were not the view was fine for us – it was interesting to overview the street as people were walking by and locals do their business. The pearl of the hotel is the personnel. Can (it’s a name) the owner, Abdulla and the other Can made our stay and the whole visit to Istanbul worth sharing — they were so engaged in our experience in Istanbul! They would recommend the best places to go, the best routes to take and spent evenings sitting with us and sharing stories. They are not just the personnel but they are THE HOTEL themselves — can’t imagine Li Hotel Pera without the guys. Had you any question they would be there for you serving and ready to make an extra mile just so you to be happy. It’s my 5th time to Istanbul and definitely the most remarkable. I absolutely DO recommend the hotel! P.S. their food is gorgeous , especially the French Chocolate Cake Can’s wife makes – you must try it with tea 🫣

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and flexible timing, making it super convenient. The location is unbeatable—just a minute's walk to Istiklal Street, close to a currency exchange shop, and an easy 10-minute walk to Taksim Square and public transport. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. The restaurant was a highlight—especially the pasta! What really made the experience special was the incredible staff. They were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owner and team went above and beyond to ensure our stay, both at the hotel and in Istanbul, was unforgettable. Would definitely book again, Highly recommended!

Our stay in Li Hotel Pera was wonderful. Room was spacious and clean with all amenities person needs available. Breakfast was basic and simple, perfect to kick off you day of sightseeing in Istanbul. Special praise goes to Can and his staff, from reception staff to cleaning lady. They are always so kind and friendly, ready to help out with whatever you ask, whether it is sightseeing related, some inside Istanbul info, or how to make perfect çay :) And location is just perfect, right in the middle of Istiklal street but again few meters into the side street not to be directly in the crowd. Hopefully, we will be back in Istanbul again and I have no doubt about where would we stay.

Everything was amazing. The room was more than comfortable and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Taksim, making it easy to explore everything. One of the highlights was the 24-hour reception – it was so convenient to be able to reach out for assistance at any time of day or night. What really stood out was the staff – they were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. They not only helped with transportation but also gave me great recommendations on where to visit around the city. I truly felt taken care of during my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic experience!
